Per Kågeson was born in 1947. Per has a PhD in Environment and Energy Systems Analysis from the University of Lund and is the author of more than 30 books and numerous reports, most of them concerned with environmental problems. He is a former president of the European Federation for Transport and Environment (T&E). He is currently chairman of the Swedish Greenways Association. Per´ s main focus is on the cost-efficiency of measures and strategies for sustainable transportation. He has done extensive work on the internalisation of external costs by different types of taxes and charges.
